Remembering The Beginning

Once upon a time, there were two rival gangs known as the Felt and the Midnight Crew. These two had been fighting for generations for power over our city. The fights were scarring to the young, bloody for most, and sent most of our population running for either the hills or the ER. Finally, they settled upon an peaceful agreement of sorts and split the city in two. They each took landmarks that they thought would benefit them, and stuck to them. For a while, all was peaceful.
That is, until the Trolls came to be. There had been a few Trolls already residing in our town, and the sight was not uncommon. However, ewhen Feferi Peixes rose up and formed a new gang of her own, that peace became distorted. This new gang grabbed anything they could, getting most of the lowly street corners and a vacant lot near it. Over time, though, they developed and grew, turnign the lot into an exquisite anusement park and extendign their reach to many of the night clubs and even the some of the small hotels. Their very presence made things more tense between the Felt and Midnight Crew, and inevitably lead down to the breaking of the treaty. Now these three gangs are locked in battle, and they are not afraid of a little bloodshed.

Welcome to our fair city! We have many exciting things that may catch your interest. Why not step up to the Circus and have some fun? Great fun surely awaits you there; at a price, of course. If you're up for something a little more... Lewd, then you may wish to look into the CD Night Life, where things get fun after dark. Need a place to stay? There are some decent, though not exactly fancy, hotels bordering these wonderful attractions. Just don't be suprised if you bump into a beast with sharp fangs, menacing horns, and gray skin. Most of them are harmless. Sort of. They run all these attractions, though, so if you're interested in any of these things, it would be good to get used to their prescence.
Need something shipped off? Then the Docks are where you wish to be. Exciting adventures and treasures await you at the Warehouse, where many hide items, personal or otherwise. You may get injured if you stick your nose in too far, though, so be wary. Another part of this side of town is the Slums, though no one wants to be caught there after dark. This part of town is run by the Midnight Crew; a group of shady characters who are well-known for their ability to catch one off-guard, and their ruthlessness in a fight. Their uniforn, so to speak, is usually a combination of black everything.
The next part of town we will visit has something that will most likely come in handy for you at some point in your stay. The Hospital is a crutial part of this town, and is always teeming with life. But be careful, just because it is a hospital does not guarantee this is a safe zone. Many fights have broken out here, whether to rival gangs, or simply from a person receiving bad news. This part of town also holds the shopping district, where one can acquire food, clothing, and anything they may need, as well as most of the gas stations. If you'd rather stay the night at a hotel you know for a fact has no creepy crawlies hiding in any cracks or crevices, the higher end hotels are found here, as well, though they are much more pricey. This end of the city is controlled by the Felt, a long time rival of the Midnight Crew.
Okay, visitors. This bit of geographical facts can make or break your stay here. You do wish to have money, correct? The main bank is found directly accross the street from the Police Station. There is also a Donut shop down the street, where the cops frequent on their breaks. The Civic Center is also located here, and is most likely the safest spot one could be; the cops are always on high alert here. This is what we referr to as the "Law District". No gangs have a hold on it, but it is far from neutral in their plights.
And now the final act of this introduction, the Neutral zones! These are places where there is a spoken agreement towards all gangs to not cause a tussle. This ruke is highly respected, and has made this side of town one of the most peaceful. This side hosts our local schools, ranging from elementary to high school, and even a small local college. A small park is also located here, to allow the children (and the occasional grub) a safe place to play. There is also a small strand of cafe's spotted around this side of the city, perfect for a little R&R from the dangerous hustle and bustle from the rest of the town.
